Jess, her mother Jane, and the little one on the way embarked on a memorable overnight ski touring trip to the charming Refuge de Loriaz, nestled high above Vallorcine. 

For Jess, a seasoned mountaineer and steep skier, this trip was a carefully curated adventure that balanced her passion for the wild with the gentle considerations of pregnancy. Jane, an accomplished ultra-runner turned budding ski tourer, joined her daughter for their annual mountain expedition – a tradition that had evolved from playful outings in retro ski suits to a deep connection with the mountains.
