The challenge of this race was clearly the wet, wild, cold weather, with only one chance to pick up dry kit at Hebden.

The outstanding piece of kit for me was my Montane Women's Prismatic Jacket – I put it on under my Montane Fleet Jacket when I was cold at 30 miles and it was instance warmth. It then kept me warm and dry for the rest of the race
For most of the race, I was wearing a long sleeve baselayer with the Montane Women's Allez Micro Pull-On Fleece Jacket.
I started the race in the Montane Women's Trail Series Running Tights...
AVAILABLE IN MEN'S AND WOMEN'S IN A VARIETY OF LENGTHS
...and added my Montane Women's Minimus Waterproof Pants over at about 35 miles to keep warmer in the wind.
AVAILABLE IN MENS AND WOMENS

I also used the Montane Prism Glove.

My Montane pack of choice was the Montane Women's VIA Claw 14L Running Vest Pack
