How to wash baselayers

Baselayers are an essential part of our layering system in the mountains and the first point of contact next to skin. As a result, over time they can lose their freshness and will need some help from you to restore them to their former glory.

We provide care labels on all of our products and recommend you refer to these ahead of your first wash. Improper care can compromise performance and overall product durability.

Dart Baselayers

All Dart (including Dart Nano and XT) baselayers are made with Polygiene anti-odour technology, which inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria and microbes. This technology means our Dart's are designed to be worn for longer and require less washing.

My Dart base layer is ready for a wash, what should I do?

Machine wash at 30°C degrees. To minimise energy use we suggest line drying, or if using a tumble dryer please use a low heat. Do not iron trims.

How do I wash my Montane PRIMINO Baselayer?

Machine wash at 40°C with similar colours, and allow to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron trims.
