About the Role:

As the Digital Content Executive you will support the Digital Marketing Manager to implement and deliver engaging, value added content across Montane's websites. This will include the montane.com homepage look and feel, as well as campaign and product pages and aligning content on Amazon with the seasonal digital marketing calendar. You will also be responsible for the delivery of weekly email builds and scheduling to support commercial objectives, as well as alignment of content across all consumer touch points. Ultimately, your role will be responsible for creating the best experience of the brand online.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of content across UK, US and DE Homepage, Collection pages, Blog posts and Campaign landing pages to support planned digital activity and seasonal campaigns.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to align content delivery for optimum brand visibility and enhanced user journey.
  • Adopt a best practice approach to building content making sure there is a considered user journey, content is checked and tested and the approach is consistent across all websites.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to continually elevate content across montane.com and the user journey.
  • Support the ideation and development of on-site search-first brand campaigns – thinking about overall content strategy, SEO optimisation and user journeys to drive traffic, engagement and conversion.
  • Assist with the content element of seasonal switch over, working with the Ecommerce Manager you will provide A+ content to support new and core product pages and campaign landing pages on all websites and mirror this activity on Amazon.
  • Maintenance and development of Amazon brand page look and feel and A+ product page content.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager to continue to develop and maintain Athlete, Ambassador and Race pages to align with planned channel activity and comms as part of a quarterly review plan and to support social activity.
  • Build weekly email campaigns aligned to the digital calendar working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to align campaign, commercial and brand activity through relevant messaging.
  • Use best practices to build weekly consumer emails and support the evolution of automated emails taking ownership of seasonal email updates and progression of look and feel.
  • Develop a good understanding of customer segmentation and email results to provide reporting around success and look for continuous improvement results feeding into a wider business wide content report.
  • Collaborate across the Digital and Brand Marketing teams taking on additional tasks relevant to the role to support the brand visibility and contribute to annual sales target.
  • To keep up to date with current email and website content trends to support the development of future content.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven 1-3 years’ experience in a content marketing role, preferably in a brands digital or ecommerce team.
  • Detail orientated around content production, understanding customer journeys and the importance of testing. Understanding of SEO best practices to optimize content.
  • Experience using photoshop preferable.
  • Experience of using a content management system with understanding around content publishing.
  • Retail experience instore or online is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A quick learner with the ability to manage multiple projects, hit deadlines and offer solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Team player, taking part and working as a team to deliver the best results.
  • A willingness to listen to feedback and learn new skills to create the best customer service experience of the brand.

Location: Northumberland.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time.
